ISA RC28 Spring Meeting 2019 Frankfurt Long-term consequences of the Great Recession for stratification, mobility and inequality

The spring meeting of the International Sociological Association’s Research Committee 28 took place from the 20th until the 23rd of March at the Campus Westend of the Goethe University Frankfurt with a total number of 307 participants.

Plenary sessionThe 230 presentations were organized into 57 sessions, which included topics ranging from Great Recession, Employment, Education, Family, Mobility, Inequality, Methodology, Attitudes and Migration. During the poster session on Thursday afternoon 29 posters were presented.

Additionally, Gunn Elisabeth Birkelund (University of Oslo, Norway), Louis Chauvel and Anne Hartung (University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg), Mads M. Jæger (University of Copenhagen, Denmark), Marika Jalovaara (University of Turku, Finland) and Anette Eva Fasang (WZB Berlin, Germany; Humboldt University Berlin), Jennifer Hook and Eunjeong Paek (University of Southern California, United States of America) as well as Wout Ultee (University of Nijmegen, Netherlands) gave inspiring keynotes on their current research.
